Bella Vista Homes (Highland Grove) at 3214 Roan Street, New Braunfels, Texas.

Bella Vista Homes offer a decent selection of inventory homes with great layouts. But really if you want to make it your own, their dirt-build options are fantastic, and for truly competitive pricing. My experience will Bella Vista has been nothing but positive start to finish.

Our home went through three different superintendents and multiple trades. My hired inspector submitted a 19 page report after his first inspection, complete with photos and code references. To their credit, they addressed them all. However, before the 1 year warranty expired we inspected again and another 17 page report was submitted. Bella Vista took care of most of the little things, but they never took care of the roof issue or finished the siding, trim and exterior paint issues. I’ve been patient and polite because Dave Murtagh (a very likable man) gave me his word and I believed him. However now that we’re 9 months past warranty and there is no longer a reply, I’ve finally given up on them. I will take care of the unpainted siding (most of one side of the house), unpainted metal trim, broken wood trim, a porch lite that blows the fuse on a regular basis, a bathroom light that overheats and turns itself off, a shower drain that doesn’t function properly and a couple of other frustrating issues. My home will be fit and proper for my family and for the next owner, but not because of Bella Vista. I do not recommend this builder.
